Virginia Rao - Vocals
Has firmly established herself as a respected singer, songwriter and
musician. She has fronted several bands during her career usually
playing either bass or keyboard while delivering her exquisite,
heartfelt prose in song.
Virginia's style can be characterized as
Adult-Contemporary with a slight Alternative Country flavor. Her vocal
delivery is silky smooth and uniquely provocative. It is
unintentionally sensual to a degree and yet honestly innocent at the
same time. |
Tom Schinkel - Guitars
Of the Virginia Rao Band, I have no choice... I also enjoy carrying
her keyboard, stand, amplifier, PA, microphone (stand), as well as
setting up the
equipment.
Having put the above aside, it is a privilege to play
with such a great song writer with such an incredibly beautiful voice.
For me, this is the place to be.

His main ax is a Carvin
XB75 5 string. Of the Virginia Rao Band Dave states: "When I was
looking to join a new band, I had received countless demos from bands
needing a bass player. To me, they all sounded the same, lacking a
deeper sense of song writing and musicianship. When I first heard
Virginia's demo of "Falling For You", I knew right away, this is a
person with amazing talent and ability, someone I really want to play
with".
